Hum Mantra Earrings

Tibet Collection's jewelry is inspired by the exotic ornamental traditions of Tibet and made in Nepal by skilled Himalayan artisans famous for their quality craftsmanship. C. Tibet Collection.

These earrings are engraved with the symbol for "Hum," part of the traditional Buddhist meditation mantra.

Om Mani Padme Hum, said aloud or silently, is believed to invoke the blessings of compassion. Some believe that even viewing the symbols brings compassion to one's heart.

The mantra originated in India, but made its way to Tibet. The engraving on these earrings represents the Tibetan Buddhist symbol.
