The Tree of Life is a symbol honored in many ancient traditions.

In Norse mythology, the ash tree, also known as the World Tree, Tree of Life, or Yggdrasil, supports the weight of the universe. It was upon this tree that Odin hung for nine days to learn the mysterious wisdom of the runes.

In the Kabbalah, the Tree of Life represents how God structured the universe when He created it.

Trees were also sacred to the ancient Druids who created a symbolic alphabet called "Ogham" to represent the powers and mysteries of each different tree. From this knowledge, we have gained the cycle of Celtic Astrology, or the Celtic Tree Months, which like traditional astrology, give us an understanding of the energies present during the time of our birth, as well as those working during each cycle of the year.
